"The front desk staff was just barely polite. I didn't know the hotel was actually a Super 8, so I drove past it twice. I had called the hotel to confirm the reservation two days before and they didn't answer with the name "Super 8," so I didn't know. The second time I called it was because I was lost, and the person who answered just laughed when I told her.
I didn't know the hotel had any amenities until I got there. They had a continental breakfast that was OK, but it would have been nice to know that they had a hot tub, too. Also, they don't promote the fact that they are about one block's walk to Portland's MAX light-rail system--that's a very attractive amenity!"
